Palacio Barolo Palace

Designated as a national historic monument in Argentina, Palacio Barolo Palace is a building on central Buenos Aires that has a very eclectic style. Palacio Barolo Palace was built in 1923 and at the time was the tallest building in South America. The design for Palacio Barolo Palace was inspired by Dante’s Divine comedy and is based on Cosmology where the bottom third represents hell, the middle purgatory, and the top heaven. Today Palacio Barolo Palace is an office building and a tourist attraction.
