Morocco is officially known as the Kingdom of Morocco (المملكة المغربية) and lies on the Northwest corner of Africa. It is officially governed by a parliamentary constitutional monarchy, where the king has more power than the government but primarily holds a ceremonial role. Morocco was a French colony until 1956 and was briefly colonized by Spain until 4 months later when it became an official state. Morocco covers an area of about 450,000 square kilometers, which makes it a relatively small country. The capital city of Morocco is Rabat, but the largest city is Casablanca, which is partially featured on this page. Morocco photos are some of the most exotic photos you will see, and the amazing Moroccan landscape has attracted many movies and productions to take place in the country.
I have only been to Casablanca in Morocco. Casablanca is a beautiful city, located on the Atlantic ocean, it is a modern, clean, safe, and friendly city. Of course, what attracted me most due to it’s unique architecture was the mosque of Hassan II. Reportedly, the Biggest mosque in the world, it is worth spending time to go and visit. I was so carried away, that when I left morocco, I discovered that I hadn’t taken any pictures but of this mosque. Here are my photos from Casablanca Morocco.
