Romania has a population of about 20 million living on about 238,000 square kilometers. Romania was forced into the communist bloc in 1947 and pretty much remained a communist country until the fall of the iron curtain in the 90’s when they managed to overthrow Nicolae Ceauşescu. Romania is a very friendly country, people are great, and I loved Bucharest, it is such a nice town. I didn’t have lots of time in Romania, so only managed to go sightseeing on a Saturday. I went to the resort of Sinaia , where there was this gorgeous castle, Castelul Peles of King Mihai of Romania.
