This Caribbean island less than 100 miles from the southern coast of the United States is famous for it’s cigars and rum. Visiting a cigar factory when you’re in Cuba is definitely worth it as it will show you more than just how cigars are made, it will give you an insight as the the practical application of socialism, where everyone is equal, regardless of role or job.
Years of economic embargoes by the US has limited the types of products found in Cuba although oddly enough Kodak and Coca Cola can easily be found. One of the trademarks of the Cuban road are the old American cars that roam the streets since before the embargoes. At the same time the Russian trade is booming with many Russian cars such as this Lada on the roads on Cuba.
