Officially known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the UK, or Great Britain, The UK has the sixth largest economy in the world, and was one of the most influencial countries in the modern history of the world. At one point, the British empire ruled much of the world, and was the first country in the world to be officiall industrial. The UK has a population of about 63 million people, living on about 243,000 square kilometers. The official head of state of the UK is the queen of England, which is also the official head of state of most commonwealth countries.
Having been born in the United Kingdom (UK) and lived there for many years, I should have more photos than this, but unfortunately, since I left there when I was 16, I don’t have many photos to add here other than the ones of London that I recently took. Again, like some other areas of the site, I will try to add some more areas as time goes by.
