Located about 90 Kms from Shanghai, Zhouzhuang (周庄) is an ancient town in Kunshan city, Jiangsu province, where many rivers and lakes are found. This ancient town is about 900 years old with many of the houses built in the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are about 100 houses with courtyards, and 60 of them have arched gateways made of carved bricks.
