Greater Vancouver (also known as Metro Vancouver), consists of 21 different municipalities and has a total population of about 2.3 million. Vancouver is the largest city in British Columbia, and is the business capital of the province. Vancouver photos are all over the place in my collection, and therefore Vancouver photos are the hardest for me to find because I have to collect them from everywhere. Of course, the largest municipality in metro Vancouver is the city of Vancouver itself, with a population of over half a million. Vancouver is known to be in the top three cities in the world in terms of quality of life, and, having lived in many other cities, and now living in Vancouver, I can confirm that Vancouver does have a great standard of life. Greater Vancouver stretches all the way down to the US border, and is bound by the North Shore mountains to the North of the city (North Vancouver).
