The USS Arizona was destroyed during the Pearl Harbor attacks in 1941 during the second world war. 1177 sailors were killed during this attack. This was the reason the US entered into the conflict of world war two. Today, the USS Arizona Memorial is still the resting place to 1102 of the killed sailors.
