Probably my favourite city in China, Shanghai (上海) is a friendly, humble, yet competitive city and is truly vibrant with many events and developments taking place. ShangHai is the business capital of mainland China, and like many other Chinese cities, is trying to attract more investments and coping with the rapid growth and improvements in the living standards in China. The Huangpu river is like a highway of boats and ships of all sizes, I have never seen a busier river in any city I went to, but again, this reflects the active industry within this city and country. Like many Chinese cities, Shanghai really lights up by night, beautiful colours make it one or the nicest cities I have seen by night. This skyline with the Oriental pearl tower is becoming one of the major marks of Shanghai.
