With a population of about 140,000, Prince Edward Island is the smallest province in Canada. Prince Edward Island is just that, an island off the east coast of Canada. The funny thing about Prince Edward Island is that you have to pay a fee to leave the province, you don’t need to pay anything while entering, but when leaving Prince Edward Island, you are required to pay a fee. Unlike it’s neighbour, the majority of people in Prince Edward Island speak English as their first language, only about 4% have an Acadian French background.
