Perito Moreno Glacier

The Perito Moreno glacier is one of a very few glaciers in the world that is still growing. Perito Moreno glacier is about 5 kilometers wide by 30 kilometers long, and is around 70 meters high with a depth of about 170 meters. Perito Moreno glacier is a major tourist attraction in Patagonia, and is in fact the reason many people go to Patagonia to begin with. One of the most interesting experiences while visiting the Perito Moreno glacier is watching the huge chunks of ice collapse and crash into Lake Argentino from the Perito Moreno glacier as it advances. Below is a video that shows a compilation of these crashes, which are awesome in nature and addictive to watch.
