The name Osaka (大阪) means “Large Hill” or “Large Slope”, and is the modern name for the city, which was almost rebuilt from the ground up after the second world war. Today, Osaka is one of the largest cities in Japan and serves as one of the major economical centers in the country. It’s also my favourite city in Japan, probably because of it’s interesting coast line and good scenery around it which allows me to get nice Osaka Photos.
