Originally named as New Scotland, Nova Scotia is one of the more interesting provinces in Canada. Nove Scotia is the second smallest province in Canada, but has a lot to show. After being taken over by the Europeans, Nova Scotia was fought over by the French, the British, the Scottish, and the Dutch with over six wars taking place in this small province. Today, Nova Scotia has a population of just under a million people.
