This site of Madinet Madi, or Narmouthis is about 30kms from the city of Fayoum. The temple of Madinet madi was founded sometime during the time of the 12th dynasty by Amenemhet III, and was expanded many times since then with both Graeco-Roman sections as well as Ptolemaic additions. There aren’t many Madinet Madi Photos on the net but it’s well worth the visit.
