Library of Alexandria

The modern library of Alexandria, or, officially known as Bibliotheca Alexandrina (مكتبة الإسكندرية‎) was finished in 2002, and was built to commomerate the old original library of Alexandria which burned down in 48 BC at the hands of the Romans.The modern library contains books in Arabic, French, and English. The library is an architectural wonder and stands out on the waterfront in Alexandria.
