One of the more famous neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires, La Boca is a popular tourist attraction characterized by its multi-coloured buildings. It is said that the reason the buildings were different colours in the beginning was due to a shortage of paint and so locals had to make do with any colour they could fine, and therefore ending with multi-coloured buildings. Today, La Boca is a major tourist attraction and retains the multiple colours for that reason and not because of a shortage of paint. Caminito street is the most famous attraction in La Boca.
