One of the oldest and largest cities in Poland, Kraków has been known as one of the leading scientific, cultural and artistic centers of the country. It was once the capital of Poland during it’s history of over 100 years. Krakow today has a population of around 800,000. It is a great place to visit when coming to Poland because of the authentic historical buildings and museums.
Like many of Poland’s cities, the tram is a practical way to travel around and is dependable as well as unique. The Vistula river runs through Krakow and is a nice place to walk by the water.
