Kihei is one of the main areas to stay on Maui and is located on the South Shore. With a population of about 20,000 the town of Kihei is full of tourists taking Kihei photos. Kihei has a lot of very good beaches, and, because of it’s location, is one of the warmest places on the island. You can walk anywhere in Kihei and end up on one of the beaches and parks, and, as a mainly touristy area, Kihei has lots to eat and do.
