The Karnak Temple (معبد الكرنك) in Luxor is the largest ancient religious site in the world. Over 30 pharaohs contributed to building the Karnak temple, getting it to its current size. It is divided into four main sections, Precinct of Amun-Re, the Precinct of Mut, the Precinct of Montu, and the Temple of Amenhotep IV. The oldest part is the Precinct of Amun-Re which is the most visited part of the temple since most of the other parts are closed to the public.
