Jaigarh Fort (जयगढ़ क़िला) was built in 1726 by Sawai Jai Singh III to protect Amer Fort. Jaigarh Fort is built on one of the peaks of the Aravalli hills and is about 400 m above Amer Fort. The views alone from Jaigarh fort are worth the visit, and in the rainy season, the hills around are green and look magnificent.
