Hawke's Bay

Hawke’s Bay is located on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, and is world famous for it’s wines. Hawkes Bay was founded as a province in 1858, then made into a district in 1876 when New Zealand decided to abolish all provinces. It has a population of about 150,000 people, mainly around Napier and Hastings.
