The peaks of mount Blanchard are referred to as Golden Ears, which is the name given to Golden Ears provincial park, located in Maple Ridge in BC. Golden Ears Provincial park is about 556 square Kms with the highest peak at 1716 meters. Golden Ears provincial park was officially incorporated in 1967, and has been a very popular local destination since then. Golden Ears park is an easy drive from Vancouver and is therefore very busy during the summer months, especially with visitors coming to camp at Golden Ears Park. You will find many Golden ears national park photos on this page because Golden Ears Park is one of my favourite destinations in the lower mainland.
