Galtaji monkey temple is visited by thousands of pilgrims each year, and located in the hills just outside of Jaipur India. It is a truly spectacular setting and is one of my favourite places in Jaipur.
It consists of a series of temples built around springs, the water from the springs gathers in tanks (Called kunds) . Bathing in the water is considered a blessing, especially in the Galta Kund, which never goes dry and is considered the most holy of all the seven springs.
