There are around 60 pyramids in Egypt, but no one ever gets to hear about most of the other smaller pyramids. For example, at Giza there are actually ten pyramids, not three, the other seven pyramids are very small and were probably made for the wives of the kings. Egyptian Pyramids (الأهرامات المصرية) can be found as far south as Sudan, where there are some Nubian pyramids that are amazing to see, but at one point, the Egyptian pharaohs decided against being buried in pyramids because pyramids are a big target for grave robbers.
