Located in Cypress Provincial Park, Cypress mountain is one of three local Vancouver ski hills. Cypress mountain is an easy 30 minute drive from downtown Vancouver. Cypress mountain starts at about 910 meters above sea level, with a top elevation of about 1440 meters. Cypress mountain has six chairlifts and some of the best runs of the three mountains North of Vancouver. Being in a Provincial park, Cypress mountain is great for snowshoeing as well as lots of hiking in the summer. Cypress mountain photos here are mostly taken in the winter while skiing, or while snowshoeing in the spring.
