Bangalore Palace was built in 1862 and was intended to look like Windsor Castle in the UK. Bangalore Palace is owned and partially occupied by the Mysore Royal family. Most of the interior of the Bangalore Palace is open to the public to visit (after paying of course), and has more of an Indian style decoration, The huge grounds around Bangalore Palace are often rented out for large concerts and events.
