Alberta is a Canadian Province in Western Canada. Alberta was officially established as a province in 1905. Alberta has a population of about 3.6 million people, and is the most populated prairie province. With an approximate surface area of 660,000 square Kms, Alberta is the fourth largest province in Canada. It is very cold in the winter, but gets lots of sunshine. The primary industry in Alberta is oil and gas, which helps the province achieve the highest per capital GDP of all the provinces in Canada. Because of this, and it’s attractive tax laws, Alberta attracts many professionals to brave the cold and move there.
