This mountain is probably one of the biggest attractions around the Lijiang area, an easy day trip from Lijiang, it offers great natural beauty that is worth seeing, especially as it comes at little physical effort. Cable cars have been built to take tourists up from the bottom of the mountain to all the way to the top (4600m in some cases).

This is by far the most expensive place to visit in the whole of China (based on entry fees) and so you should be prepared to pay and keep paying at each step.

We went up the Yak meadow cable car.
