This is truly a spectacular city, such beautiful scenery and varied landscape, it is almost as beautiful as Vancouver. I didn't stay long in San Francisco, but I saw the two things I know about it, The Golden Gate bridge, and Alcatraz island. Here are the photos.. 

Downtown San Francisco has a unique skyline that helps make it a special city. The Golden Gate Bridge is truly a remarkable feat of engineering.

Alcatraz was a federal prison from 1934 until 1963, it was a maximum security prison and housed many notorious criminals.

It's hard to believe that this photo is taken right in downtown San Francisco, at Pier 39 to be precise. This is mainly a shopping area and is a big San Francisco tourist attraction.

The area surrounding San Francisco is full of great beaches. Such as this beach at Half Moon Bay a mere one hour from down town.
