Photos from the Longshen Rice Terraces - Guangxi - China

One of the best sites to see when in China, the dragon's backbone rice terraces are a set of rice fields that are literally carved from the hill side in a way that forms terraces suitable for farming. This of course came about as a need at one point when the local Zhuang people needed land for producing rice.
