Photos of Pyramid Lake - Nevada - United States

Sometime in 1998 I was flying back from San Diego to Vancouver when I looked out of the plane window and saw this great big lake in the middle of the desert, it took the plane about 10 minutes to pass over that lake, it was spectacular, I fell in love with it, there was something that totally drew me to it, and I put it in mind that some day I will be driving around that lake. I studied every piece of it, and having a photographic memory, stored it's shape so when I got back to Vancouver I would look it up in the atlas, I did, and it turned out to be Pyramid Lake. On the way to Burning man, we had to pass by it, and I made a point to stop and take a few shots, plus of course find out if it was salt or fresh water, it was fresh.

The reason it is called pyramid lake is because of the pyramid shaped rock that can clearly be seen in the right photo.
