What could be more uniquely Egyptian than Egyptians. Egyptians are so racially varied that it is hard to find an original Egyptian nowadays. Egypt was colonized by Britain, France, Turkey, and Persians. Of course this resulted in lots of different racial types, but on this page, I will only give you a look at some of the people you would find in oases. Please note that Egypt is a very modern country, in Cairo, people will look and dress like any Western country, but I only put the traditional looking people here.

We met these two girls in Baharyia Oasis, it was the first day of the Islamic Bairum, which is equivilant to Christmas for Muslims, so they were dressed their best.

From Bahariya Oasis

These boys were in Siwa oasis playing soccer, when they saw us, we were mobbed by them, nothing bad, but they just hassle you until you get too far away from where they want to stay.
