Photos from Ottawa - Ontario - Canada

I was able to go to Ottawa for one day, even though it's a 4 hour drive, I managed to do it in a day. What did I see? I took a tour of parliament Hill, and went inside the houses of parliament.

Centre Block is where the house of parliament resides, where all the major Canadian government decisions are made. It was constructed between 1916 and 1920.

The house of commons is where MP's from representing all over Canada gather each day to discuss and debate the future. The honourary chairs are for the queen and king when she visits.

The library of parliament is one of the most extraordinary examples of Gothic Revival architecture in Canada, it was built 1876, and survived the devastating fire of 1916 which destroyed the original Centre Block.

I loved the architecture there.
