Nile

Egypt is the gift of the Nile (النيل). This statement is so true, without the Nile river, Egypt would be a barren desert with very little resources. At about 6,600 kms long, the Nile is the longest river in the world and runs through Sudan, Burundi, Democratic republic of Congo, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Egypt where it meets the Mediterranean sea. This page has Nile photos from the section that runs through Egypt.

There are also more Nile Photos from the Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and Upper Egypt pages.
