In California, I have been to Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco. I also drove through Northern California on my way to Nevada. I didn't have a camera in LA or San Diego.
Here is a funny story :
On the way to Nevada we saw a state park on the map that sounded interesting (Lava Springs Ahjumawi), it was next to this tiny town called Glenburn. after 20 minutes of driving around to find the entrance, we asked a mail worker who then said the following : "Well, There are only two ways there, one is across the river, but there is not bridge, so that won't work. The other is across the bridge over there but that takes you through Indian land and they'll shoot ya, cause they didn't like it when the government took their land and made it into a park" Of course, we didn't go to that park, instead we went to Burney Falls pictured below.
Mount Shasta, can be seen from hundreds of miles around, and is truly spectacular.
Burney Falls, are truly spectacular, the park is also a nice camping spot.
