Howe Sound

The Fjord between West Vancouver and the sunshine Coast, Howe Sound starts at the strait of Georgia and ends 42 Kms later at Squamish. Howe Sound has one of the most beautiful drives in the world along the sea-to-sky highway, or highway 99, which connects Vancouver to Whistler and beyond. Howe Sound has a few islands, most of which are inhabited. The best known islands of Howe Sound are Bowen Island, Gambier Island, Anvil Island, and Keats Island. Many Howe Sound photos can be taken when one rents a boat for a few hours to explore the area. Howe Sound also has boat tours in the summer to show tourists the nature in the area. One of the other attractions in Howe Sound is Pam Rocks which is a small rock where seals like to sunbathe. There are many attractions along Howe Sound that make the drive along this gorgeous place well worth it. Howe Sound is the most Southern Fjord in North America which makes Howe Sound Photos amazing to look at.
