Cypress Bowl is the best ski area around Vancouver. How many cities in the world have three ski hills located in them?  Being literally in Vancouver, it is great for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Half way up, there is a great view of Vancouver, and on a sunny day, you can see Mount Baker in the US.

Howe sound is clearly visible from the chair lifts and the tops of the Cypress ski area runs .
