Photos from the Black Desert - Western Desert - Egypt

In signs of a very volcanic past, this part of the western desert which starts from around Bahariya and continues South for a while, is littered with black volcanic rocks, hence the name.

The scenery is very interesting and is even more interesting when contrasted with the other areas of the desert between the oases.
