Photos of Mediterranean beaches - Northern Coast - Egypt The colour of the water on this side of Egypt is amazing, it is emerald blue, and is very warm in summer (quite cold in winter). Sand, sun, and great water, what more can one want ? These pictures were taken on a beach around 80 Kms West of Alexandria, that's my brother Aiman sitting on the beach. Agiba beach, around 300 Kms West of Alexandria (almost at the Libyan border) is one of the most beautiful beaches around, it also has some of the deadliest under currents around. Beautiful Rock formations though. This ship had been on this spot for about 20 years, stripped of everything that could be stripped , it was a very interesting place to play around in. It was removed sometime in 1998 because of a tourist resort being developed on the beach. More Photos of the Mediterranean coast
