Photographs from Alberta - Canada

It's interesting to think that getting to Alberta which is just one province East of BC, takes at least 10 hours of driving, however, it's a very interesting and beautiful drive, with many attractions, views, and activities on the way (See other BC attractions).

Once in Alberta, there are many ways one can go, the most exciting to me is the IceFields parkway, a 110 Km drive amid the glaciers and mountains of the Rockies, with great scenery, I think it is probably one of the most beautiful drives on this planet.

    Lake Louise - D1136   Lake Louise - D1138

Lake Louise is a major tourist attraction in Alberta, it's proximity to Banff and Calgary, as well as the existence of the hotel right at the lake makes it one of the busiest destinations in the area.

    Bear - D1132

Like anywhere else on the West Coast of Canada, the amount of wildlife one sees is amazing, this bear was by the side of the road, you can imagine the commotion it caused.
